Lea Schein is the founding principal of Los Angeles based Lea Schein Studio. Lea Schein Studio is an architecture and design firm specializing in high end residential design. Our projects are guided by traditional design practices, but with a modern day California spirit. Our principle focus is to develop designs that are timeless, that will age gracefully and that will make your house your home.

Lea has been trained as a classical architect and brings that training to every project. She is a listener, a problem solver and a realist, which are the skills needed for building or renovating a home.

Lea was born and raised in New York, before moving to Miami to attend the University of Miami, School of Architecture. Lea worked at two award winning firms, Ferguson & Shamamian Architects in New York, and Studio William Hefner in Los Angeles. She now lives and works in Los Angeles with her husband and dog. She is a licensed architect in California and New York State.
